Priory Fish Bar

Really good fish and chips. Large fish was too big for me and the large chips way more than 2 of us could eat. Beautifully cooked, lovely crisp batter. As a visitor to Stone only sorry it's not my local but we did manage 2 meals from there during our visit.

This chippy was good before, now it seems to have changed hands and is still as good if not better. Fish was massive, hubby and I share one between us with shared standard size Chips and large curry sauce. Wish there was a home delivery service. Now that would be brilliant.

Visiting Stone from Scotland to stay with friends. Bought 4 large fish suppers. We all really enjoyed them, really well cooked and well packaged/wrapped. Very friendly staff. Will definitely return. Thanks

Best chippy we've tried for a long time. Food was lovely and hot. The portions of chips served with our fish cake and battered sausage were huge. We could easily have shared one portion of chips between us! Lovely mushy peas too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Shame we don't live locally as we'd definitely visit again. 😀

Only 3 stars for atmos because its a chippy for goodness sake! Myself and some friends had come to Stone to visit a few pubs and half wat through the afternoon needed something to eat. Saw this place. Only us in but after lunchtime and before teatime. I had a large cod and it was delicious. My friends all had different things, pie, sausage, gravy etc and we all agreed they were of a very high standard. Would happily get food from here again.

This is the best fish and chip shop in stone ! If I want fish and chips I want to be able to go in and they are cooked ready! This place never lets me down fish there waiting for me not me waiting 15 mins for someone to cook it ! Highly recommended taste's great too !

I love the fish and chips . They cook it well.. if you have been to the busy place by the roundabout.. give this place a try and taste the difference . Just had 2 large cod and 1 large chips and it went down a treat.
